 BID NOTICE

 The Union County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the SALE of nine (9) school buses, one (1) Ford Tractor with Bush Hog brand front-end loader, one (1) John Deere Tractor with Bush Hog brand front-end loader, and one (1) John Deere Gator.  This equipment has been deemed surplus property and is no longer needed for school related purposes.  Bids are due no later than 10:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Office of the County Superintendent of Education located at 250 Carter Avenue, New Albany, MS.  Bids will be accepted by mail, hand delivery, or electronically at www.ucsdbids.com.  The sealed bids will be opened and tabulated prior to the board meeting by the administration.  The bids will be awarded by line item not as one bid and will be sold as is no warranty.  The bid tabulation sheet will be presented to the board a special called board meeting to be set at a later date.  All sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Bid-Sale of Equipment”.

 Specifications and bid packets with detail instructions may be obtained in person from the Superintendent's Office located at 250 Carter Avenue, New Albany, by calling Jamey Wright at 662-534-1960, email jwright@union.k12.ms.us, or at the Union County Bus Shop located at 911 Fairground Spur Road, New Albany, MS/ 662-534-4662.  All of the equipment is located at the Union County School Bus Shop, 911 Fairground Spur Road, New Albany, MS to inspect prior to bidding.

The Union County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
