Notice is hereby given that the City of Gulfport will receive sealed bids until 10:00 a.m., local time, December 2, 2024 at the Office of Procurement, located at 1410 24th Ave, Gulfport, MS  39501 after which time they opened and read aloud.

Group C – Sundry Road Materials 

Group C2 – Concrete Pipe 

Group C3 – Hot Bituminous Pavement 

Group E – Ready Mix Concrete 

Group J - Ductile or Cast-Iron Grates and Frames 

Group J1 – Water & Sewer Line Supplies

Group J2 - Pre-Cast Manholes (Bid)

Group K - Sewage Control Panels and Pumps

Group N1 – Chlorine

Group P – Street-Marking Signs

Group P3 - Fencing

Electronic copies of the bid packages are available by contacting jversiga@gulfportms.gov or from www.gulfportmsbids.com .  All bids must comply with the specifications provided.  The City of Gulfport reserves the right to amend the specifications as necessary and agrees to notify all parties having requested bid packets.  For any questions relating to electronic bids contact Plan House Printing at www.planhousprinting.com or 662-407-0193. 

All bids are to be submitted on the bid form as provided within the specification packet.  Failure to do so may disqualify the bidder.  Bids can be uploaded to the Plan Room at www.gulfportmsbids.com or delivered to Department of Procurement, Hardy Building, 1410 24th Avenue (2nd Floor), Gulfport, MS 39501.   The City is not responsible for any bids which are mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in the mail after the designated bid opening time.  Bids may be delivered in person to the Owner’s office prior to the bid opening at the time, date and location listed above.

The City reserves the right to accept bids by items or by group and to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Gulfport.  Bids will be awarded to the “lowest and best” bid submitted.

Sealed bids must be received in the Office of Procurement no later than December 2, 2024 at 10:00 am, local time at 1410 24th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 or online at www.gulfportmsbids.com .  

Any questions in reference to the bid must be received via email to jversiga@gulfportms.gov no later than November 25, 2024.

Minority and Women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.

The successful bidder must adhere to the City’s policy concerning nondiscrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Direct contact with any City employee, GRC Commissioners, including Administration and City Council, on the subject of this proposal is strictly forbidden.  Violation of this paragraph will result in disqualification of your submission.
